General Use Computer Workstations We have five Dell workstations available for general use. They include software installations of MS Office Suite, select Adobe programs such as Acrobat, and other special use software. Come to CAT to use them to work on special projects with which you may need assistance.
		Video/Audio Editing Workstation The CAT lab has 2 computers (one Gateway one Dell) that are fully capable of producing CDs, DVDs or producing and editing videos for your classroom needs. Coupled with a JVC video deck, it also has the capability to copy from VHS tapes to DVD. If you prefer to make your own movies, we have a digital video camcorder for you to use.
		CD/DVD Duplicating System Distributing class materials has never been easier. With the Elite-Pro Disc Duplicator and Labeler we are able to quickly produce CDs which eliminates the need for standing at the copy machine hours on end and handing out stacks and stacks of paper. 		Wide Body Scanner Our graphic arts quality scanner is capable of scanning documents as large as 11x17 at resolution as high as 2400 dpi, making quick work of even the big jobs.
		Large Format Printer We've assisted faculty in producing award winning posters using the Epson 9600 large format printer. With the ability to print images up to 44" wide and as long as you need them to be, you will have no trouble getting your point across whether it be in the classroom or at a conference.
		Audio Cassette to CD Converter The PlusDeck 2 is a cassette player for the computer. It plays audio tapes right over the speakers/headphones on the computer. You cab use this to MP3 files, CDs or even DVDs right from your Cassette Tape!
		One Step Video Transfer "The Chrome" has a built in 14-in-2 Memory Card Reader which allows you to create slide shows from your digital camera and also incorporate those MP3s you've been saving! It has one touch VHS and DVD dubbing. "The Chrome" does it all! You can dub video to video, video to DVD, and DVD to video.
		Visual Presenter Academic Support has introduced several of these projectors into classrooms on the Lowell campus, and we would love to give a demonstration of their use in CAT. The presenter works similar to an old style overhead projector, but has the added ability to display any three dimensional object placed on it.
		Digital Audio Recorder We can help you add professional quality voice overs to your power point presentations or CDs using this Fostex 8-track digital audio recorder.
