Study Abroad in Brazil!

Spend a semester like no other...

Experience Brazilian culture, learn about unique and disappearing ecosystems, spend your weekends studying environmental sciences in a rainforest, on a beach, or in the rhythm of a vibrant South American city!

Regis University, Gonzaga University, and the University of San Francisco sponsor a student exchange program that can send you to Brazil while earning credits back home.  The cost?  The same as a semester at home.

The Brazilian student exchange program sends serious students to learn first hand about Brazilian culture and environments.  The program is organized by Environmental Studies and those majors get first priority, but students with good grades from any department may participate.

Apply now!

Space is limited, and an application is required.  We are currently accepting applications for the Spring 2007 competition.

Our Mission

Future leaders in business, government, and social services must function in an increasingly interconnected world.  Therefore, a well-rounded education must include multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural aspects that will guide practical policy and business decisions during the students’ subsequent careers.  The exchange between Brazil and the United States introduces students to diverse environments in unfamiliar and disparate cultures.  The exchange program focuses particularly on unique opportunities for service learning, environmental field studies, and undergraduate research.
