Study Abroad in Brazil

You'll want to see it all!

Your studies are paramount, but on the weekends you'll want to visit Ouro Pretu, Rio, one of the national parks, a palm-lined beach, or even the Amazon.  So how do you get there?  Our best advice is to purchase one or more guide books.  Lonely Planet Brazil is a popular choice that doesn't treat you like an idiot and has enough information to keep you busy for many,  many months.  But explore your local bookstore for other possibilities.

Before leaving, pick the brains of the faculty and other students who have already been there.  Or send an email to one of the Brazilian students that will be visiting Regis, Gonzaga, or USF.  You can give them pointers and get tips on the hot spots from them.
