Gold
Sponsor,
Adelante Foundation is a
Grameen Foundation
Partner/Replicator program that has been in operation in Honduras for almost
8 years.
The solution to poverty and hunger isn’t charity but opportunity. Adelante provides very poor women in rural Honduras the opportunity they so desperately seek – the opportunity to work to build a better life for themselves and their families. By providing women with the small loans as little as $50, Adelante helps change lives.
The
Mission of the John J. Sullivan Endowed Chair for Free Enterprise at Regis
University is to create a public sphere where businesses, nonprofits,
academics, students and citizens can discuss and debate the theories and
practices of a free enterprise system. In the classroom and the community,
the Sullivan program will ensure the discussion of free enterprise explores
value-based solutions, advocates socially conscious business practices and
represents the points of view of under served communities.
Friendship
Bridge is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides
microcredit and educational programs so women and their families can create
their own solutions to poverty. The Friendship Bridge blends the short-term
economic development needs of women through access to credit and education,
and the long-term goal of breaking the generational cycle of poverty by
providing educational opportunities for their children. Friendship Bridge
has affected the lives of hundreds of thousands of rural people by investing
in women entrepreneurs, first in Vietnam and now in rural Guatemala. – women
who become leaders and agents of change for themselves, their families and
communities.
Micro
Business Development (MBD), a Colorado non-profit organization, was founded
in 1993 to eliminate barriers to economic independence for community
entrepreneurs, both youth and adult, through access to markets, resources,
and business capital. These underserved populations include, but are not
limited to youth, entrepreneurs with disabilities, refugees, women,
non-native speakers and individuals facing the challenges of poverty.
Colorado
Lending Source is a private, community-based, nonprofit economic development
corporation that assists small business owners in Colorado access
attractive, long-term, fixed-rate financing on (primarily) owner-occupied
commercial real estate and capital equipment acquisition projects.
Thank you to the City of Denver for their generous financial support

CHFA’s entire organization is focused on helping people and businesses succeed. We’ve seen the positive effects of homeownership and business expansion reverberate throughout communities. One success leads to another, as families become financially stable and companies add more jobs. For CHFA, every happy ending is really a new beginning.
CAMI develops networks, coordinates resources, and advocates to strengthen microenterprise, the economy, and communities.
