Prior to taking this
position, Jessica served as a
VISTA leader for the Access Colorado
VISTA program, as well as a
VISTA member at the Missoula Forum for
Children and Youth in Missoula, Montana as a
coordinator for two youth advocacy
coalitions.
There
she worked to provide better services
for pregnant and parenting teen moms, and
educate parents on the importance of early
childhood development. She also spent the
last 5 years on the Board of Directors of a
non-profit based in Jamaica.
Jessica proudly hails from Sturgeon Bay,
Wisconsin on the peninsula of Door County.
She enjoys traveling, hiking with her dog
Rocco, photography,
and visiting her family back in
Wisconsin.
Jessica received her
B.A. in Sociology and Peace, Conflict and
Global Studies
with a
Concentration in Community Organizing from
Northland College in Ashland, WI.
