Theresa Marie Cusimano is
the Executive Director of Colorado Campus
Compact and leads the higher education
consortium known as the Intermountain West ~
Four Corners/Four States. Dr. Cusimano is a
Juris Doctorate of Law and Public Education
Policy from the State University of New York
at Buffalo where she led the Buffalo Public
Interest Law Program, funding law students'
work in public interest and nonprofit legal
settings. Cusimano received her Master's
degree in Higher Education Administration
from Cardinal Strich College while she was
the Assistant Dean of Students there for
five years, heading up the service-learning
program within both new student orientation
and Freshmen Seminar course redesign.
Dr. Cusimano is a
passionate advocate for education and worked as a policy analyst for the
Western Interstate Commission for Higher
Education, legal counsel for the U.S.
Department of Education, legal counsel and
advocate for the U.S. Catholic Conference of
Bishops and the State University of New
York's Education Opportunity Program.
Dr. Cusimano
believes that education is the pathway
through which access, economic development,
and community sustainability are possible.
