Jami Hiyakumoto is the Assistant Director for Colorado Campus Compact and Program Coordinator for UCAN Serve. Jami has worked in the nonprofit/public service sector for over thirteen years, ranging from environmental education to U.S. congressional politics. She also worked for AmeriCorps*National Civilian Community Corps, Western Region in the Projects and Training Department.  She assisted with coordination of service projects for teams of Corps Members in the issue areas of education, environment, public safety, and human needs. Jami graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a minor in Environmental Studies.
