"Clinical components of the nursing program provide a wide variety of experiences for the students ranging from direct care of patients to wellness and public health.  A direct result of their presence is the improved quality of care for patients and community members.  I appreciate the camaraderie with rural nurses, fostered by UCAN Serve, that hopefully will encourage more interest in serving rural communities in the future."
