There
are two ways a community-based agency can become a
UCAN Serve host site. First,
nonprofits can partner with local colleges and
universities as a host agency. Student service
on a campus may come through the Community Work
Study program (Financial Aid), through academic
programs (internships and field experiences),
through Centers for Service Learning, or through
student leadership and service organizations.
Contact the Campus Coordinator at the UCAN Serve
college or university in your area to find out more
about how these programs may benefit your
organization.
Second, community-based sites may become direct UCAN
Serve agencies in partnership with
Colorado Campus Compact. Host agencies must be
not-for-profits and must fit within the service
categories of UCAN Serve: education, community
strengthening, and public health and safety.
Non-Campus Compact groups are assessed a $2,500
annual fee to access the UCAN Serve program and
receive ongoing training and program support from
CCC. Please use the Contact Us page for any
inquiries into becoming a UCAN Serve host agency.
