CS 451 - Telecommunications (Digital Signal Processing)

Introduces signal processing, Fourier analysis, error detection and correction and protocol basics. Examines models based on queuing theory for systems with both loss and delay, fundamental graph algorithms emphasizing shortest path, centralized network design and related algorithms, routing, topology optimization and network reliability. Prerequisites: CS 300 and MT 360A.
