WORK HISTORY
1997 to Present
Affiliate Professor at
Regis University. Teach accelerated adult Business and CIS courses both on-site classes at
the Ft. Collins, Colorado campus and on-line distance learning format.
Adjunct Faculty at Front Range Community College. Taught
technology courses including Web Authoring, Windows 95, Intro to Computers and PC
Applications. Taught Business Management and Lab Technical Courses Class at Aims Community
College.
Hewlett Packard ICBD Learning Center Administrator,
contract from 10/97 to 03/99 through Front Range Community College. Setup and maintained
network course content from remote servers in Corvallis Oregon and gave individual
technical help to users of the center.
Owner of The Landes Group, a consulting business that
designs and teaches custom software training applications.
1993 April 1997
Direct Sales Representative for AT&T Wireless
Services serving Loveland/Estes Park/Longmont areas. Was top sales person for three years
in Northern Colorado. Made group presentations to various organizations and appeared on
Cable TV. Was active on the behalf of AT&T Wireless Services at the Loveland Rotary
Club and Chamber of Commerce in Loveland, Longmont, and Estes Park.
1990 - 1993
Education Services Director for Healthcare Software
Systems in Loveland, CO, a developer of Medical Accounting Software. Developed and
implemented the Customer Education Services department. Researched, wrote class agendas,
and taught user classes in Denver, Omaha, Chicago, and St. Louis. Provided telephone
support to IBM System 36 software users and developed an automated reporting system for
customer telephone support. Wrote and formatted software Systems Librarian and Database
Manager at HASP Inc., a custom Civil Engineering software development company. Kept
track of client activity on various databases, prepared user software contracts, formatted
documentation, wrote user newsletter and other related computer duties.
1983 to 1990
Co-Owner and President of Loveland Computer Center (LCC)
Conceptualized, planned, and brought into existence LCC. Managed all phases of the
business, including in-house computer accounting, marketing, advertising, and sales.
Specialized in analysis of small business office and accounting procedures and the
recommendation of appropriate accounting software. Installed computer hardware and trained
business end users in the use of Accounting, Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing
software. Directed and financed three growth moves. Hired and trained retail and technical
staff. Developed, implemented, and taught computer classes, and wrote training procedures
for staff and customers.
