This page contains excerpts from the first week's assignments for the online classes offered in the MSCIT program at Regis University this term. (For classroom-based texts/modules click here.) Activities on this page should be completed the week before the term begins. Before you click on your course number, please read the general notice about the forum.
When the course begins, students will introduce themselves to the entire class by posting a few comments as a reply to the facilitators introduction in the forum describing where they live, where they work, what they do, what they expect to get out of the class and other course-specific information. Prepare a word document with your introduction. Be prepared to cut and paste it into the forum when you receive access to the course.
This introduction is also used to confirm registration of students and to help the facilitator to determine team alignments for the team assignments. Students not responding to this assignment by Wednesday of the first week will be considered a “no show” and the registrar will be notified.
Note: If you are printing your assignment from this document, please remember to print "current page only" or all assignments will print. This is approximately 15 pages. We recommend waiting until you have access to your online course. Then you can print the assignments page for your course only. Once you have access to your course, remember to check the forum, Week by Week and the assignments page for additional deliverables for week one.
